A day with kites

A youth centre is putting together a practical handbook for young people who want to organise activities for others. The editor has asked for a section about running a short kite-flying afternoon for a group of beginners.

Write a section for the guide advising young people on how to plan and run the afternoon.

You could include:

• deciding what the group can realistically do in the time available
• making arrangements that help participants know where to go and what to expect
• adapting the plan on the day and collecting useful feedback afterwards.

You may also use your own ideas.
