Using weekend opening hours

Write the text of a speech for a public meeting attended by local residents, activity organisers and members of the centre committee.

Give your views on how the two weekend sessions should be allocated. Use the consultation findings to support and qualify your recommendations. Address likely disagreements and explain how the arrangement could be reviewed after an initial trial, rather than treating the survey result as a final decision.

Your response will be assessed for communication and organisation, and for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation. The total includes 16 marks for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation.
