Question 298

A fifteen-minute activity people can own

A community library is holding a weekend skills exchange with short activities for visitors.

Write a section for a guide advising teenagers who will run one of the fifteen-minute ‘have-a-go’ tables.

Explain how they should choose and organise a practical task for first-time participants, offer support without completing the task for them, and carry out a trial beforehand. Use the trial to predict what may happen when several visitors take part together, and justify changes for people of different ages and confidence levels. Focus on practical decisions a teenage leader could realistically make.

Your response will be assessed for communication and organisation, and for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation. The total includes 16 marks for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation.
