Question 290

Planning a skills-sharing session

Write a section for a guide advising young people who are organising a 30-minute skills-sharing session at school. Four volunteers are each ready to show a different practical skill. The session will use two rooms, but one room may become unavailable at short notice. Pupils may arrive after the session has started.

You could include:

  • how to choose and organise activities within the time available
  • ways to help pupils join in, including those who arrive late
  • how to adapt the plan if a room becomes unavailable.

You may also use your own ideas.

Your response will be assessed for communication and organisation, and for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation. The total includes 16 marks for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation.
