Question 288

A book swap for your class

Your class is planning a book swap. Prepare a guide section to help pupils organise one that runs smoothly and gives everyone a chance to take part.

You might arrange your advice around these stages:

  • getting ready: deciding how books will be brought in and arranged
  • swap time: helping classmates choose and exchange books
  • afterwards: dealing with books that remain and tidying the space.

Add any other suggestions that would make the swap work well.

Your response will be assessed for communication and organisation, and for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation. The total includes 16 marks for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation.
