Lunch from a food flask
Text: an original contemporary personal account-style practice extract.
I filled my food flask with soup before leaving home. When I opened it at lunchtime, the soup was still hot, although several hours had passed. Its wide opening also allowed me to eat directly from the flask instead of carrying a separate bowl. The flask was heavier than my usual container, and the lid took some time to wash properly. I decided it was useful for hot lunches, but I would not take it every day.
Give one practical advantage the writer identifies when using the food flask.
