Question 185

Sharing the unfinished version

A magazine for young people is publishing a feature about learning practical skills.

Write an article giving your views on whether beginners should share their successes and mistakes while they are still learning.

In your article, consider:

  • how sharing an unfinished attempt could help the learner or other beginners
  • why someone might prefer to wait until they are more experienced.

You may use examples from skills such as cooking, making something or playing an instrument.

Your response will be assessed for communication and organisation, and for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation. The total includes 16 marks for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation.
