Tungsten can be extracted from tungsten oxide, WO3\text{WO}_3WO3, by reaction with hydrogen.
150 tonnes of tungsten oxide was heated in a stream of hydrogen gas. The tungsten formed in the reaction was separated and purified. The mass of tungsten was then determined.
The results are shown in Table 1.
