$P (2, 10)$ lies on $C$ . Line $l\,$ is the normal to $C\,$ at $P$ . Region $R\,$ is bounded by the curve $C$ , the line $l\,$ and the line with equation $x = 1$ .

Show that the area of $R\,$ is 110.
