People frequently spend time using their smartphones during their leisure hours. It may be that the more time spent on a smartphone, the fewer daily steps a person takes. To investigate this, a health psychologist wants to use a correlational research design to see if there is a relationship between daily smartphone screen time (in hours) and the number of daily steps recorded.
