How intuitive is augmented reality for different age groups? A team of user experience (UX) researchers investigated this by testing a new AR navigation app. They recruited participants from two age demographics: teenagers (aged 13–19) and older adults (aged 65–80). After a 10-minute trial, participants rated the intuitiveness of the app interface on a scale of 1 to 10 (where 1 = 'extremely confusing' and 10 = 'extremely intuitive').
The ratings from the first fifteen teenagers and the first fifteen older adults to complete the study are shown in Table 1.
