Study Description

A sports psychologist wanted to investigate coaches' perspectives on differences in recovery rates between junior athletes and senior athletes after high-intensity training. Previous literature showed contradictory findings. The psychologist randomly selected six regional sports academies. Five of the academies agreed to take part. The psychologist designed a list of eight questions and interviewed the head coaches of the Under-14 and Under-18 squads in the five academies, asking each coach the same eight questions in the same order.
