Managers of a municipal 'Green City' initiative recently launched a community-sharing scheme for electric cargo bikes to reduce local delivery emissions. They commissioned a social researcher to evaluate the experiences of young adult users aged 18 to 25 during the first month of operation.
The researcher wanted to assess users' satisfaction with the bike-locking mechanisms and the ease of booking via the mobile app. Additionally, the researcher wanted to collect suggestions for new docking locations or improvements to the safety features of the cargo bikes.
To gather this information, the researcher designed an anonymous online questionnaire, which was emailed to all registered cargo-bike users aged 18 to 25 who had completed at least one trip.
Explain one advantage of using a closed-ended question and one advantage of using an open-ended question in this feedback questionnaire.
