A health psychologist wanted to investigate nurses' perspectives on differences in how younger adults and older adults adhered to post-operative rehabilitation exercises. Previous research on recovery compliance showed inconsistent findings. The researcher randomly selected six hospitals from all the public hospitals in a regional healthcare trust.
