Sarah has been trying to lose weight by sticking to a strict daily limit of 1200 calories. However, if she accidentally goes over this limit by even a small amount, she feels she has completely failed her diet and ends up eating far more.

David finds that he eats normally most of the time, but when he is feeling lonely or anxious about his job, he loses all control over his eating and consumes large quantities of high-calorie foods.
