In this question use g=9.8g = 9.8g=9.8 m s−2^{-2}−2
A block of mass 5 kg is projected vertically upwards from ground level with speed 14 m s−1^{-1}−1.
As the block moves upwards it experiences air resistance of constant magnitude 7 N.
Find the magnitude of the deceleration of the block while it is rising.
Find the greatest height above the ground reached by the block.
The air resistance on the block as it falls also has constant magnitude 7 N. Find the speed of the block as it returns to the ground.
