Scientists investigated bush-cricket courtship behaviour by exposing a population of sexually active male bush-crickets to a sublethal concentration of a glyphosate-based herbicide (GLY). They also maintained a separate control population of sexually active male bush-crickets under identical conditions but without GLY exposure.
