Question 32

Hana grew up in a large city. A classmate tells her about a fishing festival on a small island, with foods and music Hana has never seen or heard. The next day Hana retells the story to her brother. She calls the music "a drum and a guitar", names a dish she has eaten herself, and leaves out several events.

Use Bartlett's findings to explain the changes in Hana's retelling.
