Electromagnetic induction
Electromagnetic induction
Electromagnetic induction is the production of an induced e.m.f. when a conductor experiences a changing magnetic field, for example by cutting across magnetic field lines. A generator uses this effect to transfer kinetic energy into electrical energy.
