Assignment B is imaginative writing. Its focus is to explore and develop imaginative writing skills through purposeful choices about ideas, structure, language, viewpoint and crafted detail.

A successful response does more than tell a story. It makes deliberate choices and demonstrates them through crafted detail, effective structure, and purposeful use of language and viewpoint.

Treat the wording of the requirement as a checklist for decisions, not as information to memorise.
