Question 229

Your school holds its annual exhibition over two evenings in the school hall, with tickets limited to 120 for each evening. A town venue has offered to host the exhibition on one Saturday, with tickets limited to 260 admissions in total. Hiring the town venue would cost twice the total cost of using the school hall for both evenings.

Write an article for your school magazine giving your views on whether the exhibition should move to the town venue. Use the information provided and make a clear recommendation.

Your work will be assessed on communication and adaptation to audience and purpose (27 marks), and organisation and technical accuracy (18 marks).
