Question 35

Riverside Community Centre is holding a repair-sharing day. Local residents may bring one portable household item for volunteers to inspect and, where appropriate, attempt to repair. The owner must remain with the item. Repairs cannot be guaranteed, unsafe items may be refused, and no replacement part will be bought without the owner’s agreement.

The centre also wants to recruit residents with practical repair skills and welcome beginners who would like to observe and learn.
