Question 24

At lunchtime, pupils at your school can use the dining hall and outdoor areas. The headteacher has invited suggestions about opening a supervised classroom as a quiet indoor space.

Write the speech you would give at a meeting of pupils and staff, presenting your opinion and recommending how the space should be run.

In your speech, you could include:

  • who might benefit from the space
  • what should be available there
  • how possible problems could be managed.

Your work will be assessed on communication and adaptation to audience and purpose (27 marks), and organisation and technical accuracy (18 marks).
