Question 32

A magazine for young people is inviting articles about different ways of learning practical skills.

Write an article for the magazine in which you present your views on this statement:

‘The best way to learn a practical skill is with someone who already knows how to do it, rather than by following instructions on a screen.’

You may wish to consider:

  • receiving advice and feedback
  • learning at your own pace
  • whether the best method depends on the skill.

Your work will be assessed on communication and adaptation to audience and purpose (27 marks), and organisation and technical accuracy (18 marks).
