The gloves on the table
At the tactile display trial, visitors were asked to handle replicas while wearing gloves. The smallest raised markings were difficult to distinguish through the fabric. Two objects had nearly identical outlines, although their surface details were different. The written labels were too far from the handling area to consult without putting the objects down. A volunteer's spoken explanation competed with noise from the neighbouring video. Some visitors wanted more time, but the single handling space meant that others were waiting behind them.
Describe the difficulties visitors faced when using the tactile display. You may support your points with brief quotations.
