Reversible reactions and the double arrow
Reversible reactions and the double arrow
A reversible reaction can happen in both directions, so reactants form products and products can reform reactants. We write this using the symbol ⇌\rightleftharpoons⇌ instead of a one-way arrow.
Step-by-step lessons covering Edexcel IGCSE Chemistry Reversible reactions and equilibria for IGCSE Chemistry. Each lesson works through exam-style questions in Paper 1 and Paper 2 format. Build a solid grasp of atomic structure, bonding and the mole concept early, since these underpin almost every other topic, then move on to the more calculation-heavy quantitative and organic chemistry content.
