Question 14

During lunch in a school dining hall, two psychologists independently record each time a pupil offers another pupil a seat. They use the same written definition of an offer, but stand at opposite ends of the hall, where groups of pupils sometimes block their view. Pupils have been told that the psychologists are observing how often they offer seats.

Explain one reliability problem and one validity problem with this observation.
