Question 10

During a rehearsal, one performer changes their preferred interpretation after most of the cast disagree with them. A scan shows that this performer has a smaller hippocampal volume than another performer. Later, the second performer damages a set piece despite knowing that this will upset the cast; a scan shows damage to their ventromedial pre-frontal cortex.

Using links between the brain and dispositional factors, explain how the brain characteristics could be related to the performers’ behaviour.
