Question 7

Aisha continues her college course while receiving treatment. One care co-ordinator links her appointments with a psychiatrist, psychologist and social worker at a local health centre. After learning about Aisha's diagnosis, her tutor assumes that she cannot handle responsibility and removes her as the lead on a group project. Aisha then stops volunteering for other projects.

Use Aisha's experience at college and at the health centre to explain what care in the community provides for her and how stigma has affected her since her diagnosis.
