A student has the equipment shown in the diagram below.

An experimental setup showing a wooden ramp propped up on wooden blocks at one end to form an inclined plane. A wooden block with a hook is resting on the ramp, with a string connecting it to a Newton meter. Next to the setup, there is a metre ruler and a tray of five 100g slotted masses.

Devise an experiment to investigate how the efficiency of the inclined plane (ramp) system varies with the total weight of the block being pulled up the ramp.

Your answer should include how you will use your measurements.
