Figure 1 shows a model hovercraft propelled by a rear thrust fan.

The forward thrust force produced by the fan depends on the rotational speed of the fan blades, measured in revolutions per minute (rpm).

Figure 2 shows a graph of the forward thrust force against the rotational speed.
