Figure 1 shows a rescue hovercraft.

The spinning propeller generates a forward thrust that moves the hovercraft. The rotation speed of the propeller is measured in revolutions per minute (rpm).

Figure 2 shows how the forward thrust generated by the propeller depends on its rotation speed.
