Figure 1 shows a speed-time graph for a cyclist who applies their brakes to come to a stop.

A speed-time graph with speed in m/s on the y-axis (from 0 to 10) and time in seconds on the x-axis (from 0 to 3.0, with grid divisions every 0.1 seconds). The graph line starts at a speed of 8 m/s at time 0 s, stays perfectly horizontal at 8 m/s until 0.8 s, and then decreases in a straight line to 0 m/s at 2.4 s.

Use the graph to find the cyclist's reaction time.
