The technician first places an empty cooling reservoir on a digital balance as shown in Figure 1a. They then fill the reservoir with the dielectric fluid as shown in Figure 1b.

Calculate the mass of the dielectric fluid added to the reservoir.

Figure 1a shows an empty rectangular reservoir on a digital balance displaying a reading of 245.3 g. Figure 1b shows the same reservoir filled with dielectric fluid on the digital balance displaying a reading of 814.7 g.
