Fieldwork Investigation: Green Line Elevated Greenway

A group of geography students investigated the impact of the 'Green Line' Linear Park Scheme on the urban environmental quality of an old railway corridor. They compared two areas:

  • Site A: An unregenerated, derelict section of the old elevated railway line.
  • Site B: The newly completed elevated green walkway and park.

After gathering their data, they formulated the following conclusion:

"The Green Line Regeneration Scheme has successfully resolved all environmental and social issues, creating a flawless and highly-accessible environment at Site B compared to Site A."
