Borrowing the projector
An original contemporary non-fiction-style account.
I borrowed the community hall’s projector for a workshop and signed the equipment sheet. Beside my name the caretaker wrote the return date, then asked me to read it aloud. I thought this unnecessary until she showed me the next booking: a language class would need the same machine the following morning. Returning it when my own workshop ended was not enough. It had to be back before she locked the hall that evening.
Give one phrase that shows the projector was needed by another group the next morning.
