In this question you will be assessed for the quality of your writing skills. 12 marks are awarded for communication and organisation; 8 marks are awarded for vocabulary, sentence structure, spelling and punctuation.

You should aim to write about 300 to 400 words.

A music streaming company has announced that, from next month, albums on its free service will play only on shuffle, and paying subscribers will have shuffle switched on automatically unless they turn it off. The company says that most listeners prefer variety.

Write a letter to the company’s head of policy giving your views on this decision.
