After the rowing challenge

In this question you will be assessed for the quality of your writing skills. 12 marks are awarded for communication and organisation; 8 marks are awarded for vocabulary, sentence structure, spelling and punctuation.

You should aim to write about 300 to 400 words.

Your local youth group recently held a sponsored indoor rowing challenge to raise money for a children’s hospice. You have been asked to write a report for the group’s leaders on how well the event went and how it could be improved next year.
