Not so pointless, Uncle

In this question you will be assessed for the quality of your writing skills. 12 marks are awarded for communication and organisation; 8 marks are awarded for vocabulary, sentence structure, spelling and punctuation.

You should aim to write about 300 to 400 words.

Your uncle has sent you a message saying that you spend ‘far too much time playing pointless computer games’ and should take up ‘a proper hobby’ instead.

Write a letter to your uncle in reply, explaining your point of view.
