Question 43

The wrong person

In this question you will be assessed for the quality of your creative prose writing skills. 24 marks are awarded for communication and organisation; 16 marks are awarded for vocabulary, sentence structure, spelling and punctuation.

You should aim to write about 450 to 600 words.

Write a story about a message sent to the wrong person that leads to an unexpected conversation. You may use these questions to help you plan your story: What is the message, and who was it meant for? Who receives it instead? What do the characters say to each other? How does the conversation affect what happens next? How has the narrator's thinking changed by the end?
