Question 250

Prices before the queue

Pupils at your school have suggested that canteen prices and meal choices are difficult to understand.

Write a letter to the canteen manager persuading them to improve the information available. You may invent details about the canteen.

You could include:

  • difficulties pupils encounter
  • changes you recommend
  • how clearer information could help pupils and staff.

You may also use your own ideas.

Your response will be assessed for communication and organisation, and for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation. The total includes 16 marks for vocabulary, sentence structures, spelling and punctuation.
