The translated guide
Text: an original contemporary report-style practice extract.
The gallery commissioned a translated visitor guide but delayed printing it because the room numbers did not match the latest floor plan. The translation itself had already been checked. Staff corrected the numbers and sent a fresh proof to the designer. Meanwhile, visitors could ask for help at the information desk. The manager kept one marked copy of the old proof to show exactly which references had changed. The delay prevented a clear description from directing readers to the wrong place.
From the extract, identify one reason printing the translated guide was delayed.
