An algorithm stores a player's starting health as an integer and prompts them to choose a game difficulty.

The following algorithm:

  • generates a random health value between 50 and 150 (inclusive) and stores it
  • displays the starting health to the user
  • repeatedly prompts the user to input a difficulty level ("easy" or "hard") until a valid option is entered.
h = random(50, 150)
print("Starting health: ", h)
d = ""
while d != "easy" and d != "hard"
    d = input("Choose easy or hard: ")
endwhile

Describe two ways to improve the maintainability of the algorithm.
