Calculate the volume of chlorine gas needed to react completely with 1.4 g1.4\text{ g}1.4 g of silicon.

You should calculate:

  • the number of moles of silicon used
  • the number of moles of chlorine gas (Cl2\text{Cl}_2Cl2​) that react with 1.4 g1.4\text{ g}1.4 g of silicon
  • the volume of chlorine gas needed.
