A reversible reaction can go in both directions, written as A(g)+B(g)⇌C(g)\text{A}(g) + \text{B}(g) \rightleftharpoons \text{C}(g)A(g)+B(g)⇌C(g). To reach equilibrium, it must be in a closed system so reactants and products cannot escape.
