One decision affects many stakeholders
One decision affects many stakeholders
A stakeholder is a person or group affected by a business, or able to affect the business. For example, if a food manufacturer moves production 80 miles away, up to 200 employees may lose their jobs. The decision could also affect customers, suppliers, the local community, shareholders and the government.
A business decision can move money, jobs, products or environmental effects beyond the firm's own accounts.
