Markets and competition
A market is anywhere buyers and sellers come together to trade a good or service. It could be a physical place, such as a high street, or an online platform, such as Amazon. New businesses entering a market or new technology can increase competition. Little or no competition is the opposite market condition, where customers have fewer alternatives and existing businesses face less pressure from rivals.
