What is a coordinated response?
What is a coordinated response?
A stimulus is a change in the environment, inside or outside the body, detected by a receptor. Coordination is the process by which the nervous system links information from receptors to the correct effectors so that different parts of the body work together. For example, light is detected by receptors in the eye, while a change in temperature is detected by temperature receptors in the skin.
