Determine the probability that the child will be a girl with cystic fibrosis.

You should:

  • draw a Punnett square diagram showing the possible offspring genotypes
  • identify the phenotype of each offspring genotype
  • calculate the final probability using the symbols:
    • FFF = normal (dominant) allele
    • fff = mutated cystic fibrosis (recessive) allele
