A clone is an organism produced without sexual reproduction that has the same nuclear genome as another organism. In adult-cell cloning, the clone receives nuclear DNA from the body-cell donor but mitochondrial DNA from the enucleated egg donor, so its entire genome may not be identical to the donor's.
